  1. Nice pod! Here is a fun casting fact that might amuse you. One of the nuns in your header pic above (talking to Helen) played the murder victim in the iconic (and great in the opinion of many) Columbo episode "Etude in Black" with John Cassavetes as the killer. Cassavetes offs her after a long conversation establishing motive. You're probably too young to be huge Columbo fans, but people (such as myself) who have reasonable familiarity with the 70s leg of the series recognize the name.

  2. Quite to the contrary! We may be a touch young to have caught Columbo on it’s original run... but I (Mike) watched the specials with my mom growing up. Interestingly, I’ve started watching the 70s run this week as I’ve been unpacking from a move on the PlutoTv streaming ‘service.’ I’ll do a little IMDB sleuthing and find the episode you’ve mentioned to check it out.
